Educated at Tonbridge School and Imperial Coll. London. I recently retired from a career at a major computer manufacturer. I have written books on server virtualisation and clustering.
Retired from the Metropolitan Police and moved to Chard in 2002. Worked as a Paralegal and investigator locally and was elected to SSDC and Chard Town Council in 2003. Mayor of Chard 2007/8.
Andy is a first-time councillor, elected in May 2022 for Bridgwater East & Bawdrip. In addition to his role on the County Council, Andy is a senior manager in a local Research and Insights Agency. Andy has well over a decade of experience in Market Research, Insight and Data.
Mandy Chilcott has been the County Councillor for the Minehead Division since 2017 where she held the position of Deputy Leader & Cabinet Member for Resources. She has also served as a Town and District Councilor.
I returned from New Zealand and joined the Avon and Somerset Constabulary. Having served in various roles over 30 plus years in 2008 I retired and set up a successful business. In 2019 I was elected as a Sedgemoor District Councillor and now elected as a Somerset Councillor.
