I previously worked for the Somerset County Council in the Library Service as a Personal Assistant before taking early retirement. Served on the District Council for the last 24 years, and I have been on the Town Council for 20 years
I have been the Chairman of Licensing and General Purposes, Deputy Chairman on Corporate Scrutiny, Development Management, before taking the role as the Chairman of Sedgemoor District Council. Previously been the Executive member for Health & Wellbeing, and presently I am the Executive member for Inward Investment & Growth and was elected as Deputy Leader for Sedgemoor at the last Election. Also, the Leader of the Conservative Group on the Bridgwater Town Council.
