Councillor for Chard North
Retired from the Metropolitan Police and moved to Chard in 2002. Worked as a Paralegal and investigator locally and was elected to SSDC and Chard Town Council in 2003. Mayor of Chard 2007/8. I have Chaired Licencing and Employment Appeals and served for many years as a Scrutiny member and Chaired the Avon and Somerset Police Commissions Panel. The experience I bring from the District Council particularly in relation to Planning will, I hope, be helpful when all responsibility are combined. I am currently Leader of the Conservative Group at SSDC.
