Councillor for Watchet & Stogursey
Born in Minehead, Rosemary Woods has lived and moved around Historic Somerset, finally settling in Watchet 23 years ago. She is committed to public service having been a Wells City Councillor (Mayor 1998-99), Williton Parish Councillor including Chair of Parish Council and a Vice Chair of West Somerset Councill prior to its demise.
She acts as a voluntary carer for her Mother-in-law, and is a voluntary helper for an old folks group in Watchet. A committed Christian her working life had an eclectic pattern woven through caring for family and supporting her husband in his banking career. She is committed to serving Somerset.
