Councillor for Monkton & North Curry
Born at Hill Farm, West Monkton.
Attended local schools, then Leeds University. Played and now supports Rugby.
Worked 5 years in industries, then a farmer for 40 years.
Elected to Taunton Deane and West Monkton Councils in 1983. Served as Mayor in 1991-92.
Chaired many committees at TDBC.
Helped direct the design and build of Brittons Ash Community Hall.
Member of WM Primary School. Representive on local and town Theatres. Trustee of Taunton Heritage Trust.
Working with the District, Parish Councils and volunteers to establish the Maidenbrook County Park and creation of Somerset Wood.
