Lil is standing for the Conservatives in Glastonbury South & Meare at the Somerset Council elections in May 2027.
Lil has known Glastonbury for more than 50 years and moved to the area around a decade ago following a 30-year career in teaching, retiring as the headteacher of a SEND school.
Since moving to Glastonbury, she has worked as a carer for older people and now works as an Independent Advocate, helping people to ensure their voices are heard.
Lil wants to put local residents first, tackle anti-social behaviour, protect freedom of speech and ensure tourism is balanced with the needs of the communities who live here year-round, all part of her determination to get Somerset working again.
